WateringWinds is a proud 2026 sponsor of One Truckee River, the nonprofit coalition working to keep the Truckee River healthy, thriving, and connected to its community. Our sponsorship supports OTR's general mission and its Workforce Program, which restores native vegetation and improves the river corridor east of downtown Reno. This very stretch flows past our community, including dedicated Workforce restoration days in August and October 2026. Residents and neighbors are invited to OTR's community education and volunteer events during the year. It is our way of investing in the river for which we are named.
Yes. The community calendar hosts 2 events per month, including resident socials, food trucks, seasonal events, volunteer shifts with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and river cleanup events with One Truckee River. Events are free for residents and posted monthly.
